If Irish music has travelled the world, then this year’ Fleadh will see Cavan bringing it all back home for the first time ever! willos’ from Italy, Nustalgic Folk from Cadenazzo in Switzerland, Rí Ra from the Czech Republic, and Folk from Orkney, a trio of talented musicians from the northern isles will add to the worldwide touch, as will fiddle‐playing virtuoso Marco Fabbri from Italy, and mouth organ expert Don Meade from the USA, who fell in love with Irish tunes as a young man in southern California and adapted them to the harmonica.

The All Ireland Fleadh has long been acknowledged as the world’s biggest event on the traditional Irish Music calendar, and this will be highlighted more than ever before at this year’ 60th Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Cavan town, where top traditional acts from around the globe will make the festival a truly “world” event.
Willos’ are a well‐established five‐piece international band based in Siena, Italy.
They are no strangers to Cavan, having visited the county on a number of previous occasions as part of the Nyah Festival, where their lively shows always guaranteed them a warm welcome! The band create a unique sound that is recognised far and wide. Their lively and inventive take on the music can be heard to best effect on their latest album Dirt Tracks, which was recorded and produced by the great fiddle player Athena Tergis.
